Experience a brand new world with American Sign Language

Join the fun on Saturday, June 3 as VCC is transformed into a mini-world where people in clinics, post offices, travel agencies, the SPCA, tattoo parlours, banks, photo studios, police stations, museums, and more communicate using American Sign Language (ASL). 

Deaf Deaf World – presented by students and instructors in ASL and Deaf Studies (Full-time program) – is a fun, interactive way for sign language learners at all levels to apply their skills in a relaxed atmosphere.

Tour VCC’s mini Deaf world with friends and family, meet instructors and students and have fun!  Hot dogs, pop, chips and candies will be sold.  Art work by local and international Deaf artists will also be exhibited during the event.

Tourist (10 years and older): $5
Family (3 or more): $10
Children (9 and under): free

Event Space of building B at VCC's Broadway campus, 1120 East 7th Avenue at Glen Drive, across from VCC/Clark SkyTrain station.
