The Assessment Centre reception will be closed for this week.  Currently scheduled testing and invigilation will continue behind closed doors.  We will reply to emails and phone calls within 48 business hours.

RECEPTION HOURS CHANGE as of November 27, 2017

The Assessment Centre reception hours will change between November 27 and December 21, 2017. Reception will be open from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday reception hours will remain the same.

Regular scheduled testing and assessments will continue 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during these reception closure times. Email and phone lines will also remain open.


With a team of highly experienced, professional invigilators and faculty assessors, the VCC Assessment Centre plays a key role in the initial application and registration process for students accessing programs at VCC. All Assessment Centre invigilators are members of the BC Higher Education Testing Association.

The VCC Assessment Centre's guiding principles include strict adherence to test security and integrity which is complemented by a student-centered approach to service delivery. Primarily, the VCC Assessment Centre delivers assessments that determine education and skill level for entry into VCC applied programs and/or placement into upgrading classes. This includes English, math, and keyboarding assessments.

We also provide exam supervision/invigilation services for outside institutions.

Completion of VCC assessments does not guarantee admission into classes or programs at VCC.
