This is a Grade 9/10 non-credit course that focuses on improving reading comprehension and speed. Vocabulary development and study skills are included. A book review is required.

Prerequisite: a transcript for the preceding grade level from VCC, OR its articulated equivalent from the ABE Provincial grid, OR the established scores on the VCC/ABE assessments for Reading and Writing
