Hair Colouring 1 (HAIR 1108)

In the first level of hair colouring students are introduced to the colour wheel and gain an understanding of primary, secondary and tertiary colours. The importance of client consultation is reviewed in relation to choosing complementary colours based on skin tone, and natural hair colour. The hands-on application of temporary, semi-permanent and permanent colour allows the student to develop professional techniques and reinforce the use of safety precautions relating to colour applications.
