Pharmacology 2 (NURS 2005)

This course builds on Pharmacology I to increase learners’ understanding of pharmacotherapeutics prescribed for illnesses clients experience across the lifespan. Topics include drug classifications and links with common diseases/illness based on a body system approach and drug resistance.

Prerequisites: Successful Completion of Level 1 Theory courses and Consolidated Practice Experience 1.

Co-requisites: Professional Communication 2 (NURS 2001); Professional Practice 2 (NURS 2002); Health Promotion 2 (NURS 2003); Variations in Health 2 (NURS 2004); Integrated Nursing Practice 2 (NURS 2006).
