Rehabilitation Skills (OPTA 1114)

This course focuses on the patient care skills necessary to assist occupational and physical therapists in providing rehabilitation therapy to clients. The principles and practice of body mechanics are introduced with an emphasis on assisting clients during transfers and therapeutic exercise. Infection control, WHMIS and vital signs are also discussed.
