Using Databases - Introduction to Access (CLER 0642)

This course provides an introduction to creating, editing, and viewing tables and forms that store data. Understanding of the basic database concepts provides the foundation for creating reports and mailing lists and labels using the Access program. Students are shown how to organize and retrieve data, including importing and exporting the data to other desktop programs.

Additional requirements: Minimum keyboarding speed of 15 words per minute
Familiar with computers

Recommended characteristics: Access to a personal computer
Basic mouse manipulation skills
