Appeals Oversight Committee |
Chair: Natasha Mandryk The Appeals Oversight Committee is responsible for defining the standard processes through which VCC conducts its appeals. Members are responsible for ensuring consistency and fairness across all of VCC’s appeals procedures, including redefining appeals policies for the betterment of the College and all those involved. The Appeals Oversight Committee is also one of the key resources for training for appeal panels through its [annual] Tribunal Training Day. Appeals Oversight acts in an advisory capacity to Education Council on all appeals related matters. |
Curriculum Committee |
Chair: Todd Rowlatt The official journey of VCC’s programs and courses begins at Curriculum Committee. As a member of Curriculum Committee, become deeply immersed in the development and maintenance of VCC’s curriculum. Help redefine the experience of VCC’s student by spurring new and exciting programs to the next step, and promote experiential growth within VCC. Feel pride knowing your contribution to continual curriculum development is valued, as Curriculum Committee acts in an advisory role to Education Council on all curriculum related matters. |
Education Policy Committee |
Chair: Sarah Kay The embodiment of editorial scrutiny at its finest, members of Education Policy are responsible for the quality assurance process for the development and review of VCC’s educational policies. VCC’s policies are brought forward to this Committee within a five-year review cycle, and members ensure the policies are sound, consistent, and fair. Education Policy Committee acts in an advisory role to Education Council on all policy review related matters. |
Education Quality Committee |
Chair: Todd Rowlatt The Education Quality Committee (formerly Program Review and Renewal Committee/Quality Assurance Committee) is responsible for guiding fundamental aspects of VCC, such as program review, program renewal, and CD fund allocation. Members of the Education Quality Committee ensure all of these processes are clearly defined, and are constantly on the lookout for new and better methods to improve integral College processes. |
