Assessment Centre

**NOTICE**  

The Assessment Centre has temporarily suspended all in-person assessments until further notice.

We are looking into alternative options for students who need to meet program/course requirements.

About us

The VCC Assessment Centre delivers assessments that determine education and skill level for entry into VCC programs and/or placement into upgrading classes. These assessments include English, math, and keyboarding.

Please note that completion of VCC assessments does not guarantee admission into classes or programs at VCC.

Requesting an assessment

To request an assessment for a VCC course or program, you will need the following information: 

  •  The name of your chosen VCC course or program
  •  The name of the VCC assessment you need
  •  A VCC ID number (usually 9 digits beginning with '000')

After you have collected this information, please contact us by phone or email to request your assessment.

IMPORTANT: It is the student's responsibility to request the correct assessment for their chosen program or course.

If you would like to complete a VCC assessment for a non-VCC purpose, please contact us by phone or email with the name of the assessment and the name of the institution or organization.

 

External testing services 

VCC's Partnership Development Office provides limited invigilation services for group sittings of 10 or more. Please email the Partnership Development Office with the name of your organization, number of examinees, and basic invigilation requirements. 

The VCC Assessment Centre no longer provides external proctoring services (group or individual) for outside institutions.  Please contact other institutions for these services.
