Surface Preparation Methods (ACRD 2100)

Students identify various substrates and topcoats found in the automotive refinishing industry, mixing, applying and finishing plastic body fillers, applying a two-part putty, correctly sanding a vehicle and the functions of metal conditioners and conversion coatings. This course is part of the full-time Automotive Collision and Refinishing Diploma program.
