This course examines key communication concepts and practical skills via role rehearsals of socio-cultral competencies which contribute to effective interpersonal relationships, especially in managing and avoiding conflict. This course also focuses on the development of self awareness and increased understanding of others in the areas of cultural awareness, diversity and inclusivity. Problem-solving and stress management techniques are discussed and practised. Professionalism in the program, in a job interview and on the job is also discussed.
