Applied Music – Jazz/Contemporary Voice I (MUSC 1120)

This course is the first of a sequence that focuses on developing healthy vocal technique and the skills needed to develop and perform contemporary pop and jazz repertoire. Topics include song form, communication with accompanists, lead sheet writing and reading, centering and relaxing on stage, and delivering a strong performance.
