Biosciences 1 (DENT 1110)

This course reviews anatomical features, structure and function of the human body with an emphasis on the head and neck area. Students learn basic dental terminology, annotation and anatomy; the theory and practical application related to the development and eruption of teeth and anatomicaland morphological features of both the deciduous and permanent dentitions.
Hard and soft tissue histology in the head and neck is introduced.
