Financial Literacy 101 (FNCE 1000)
To achieve your financial goals, you need to understand the vocabulary of money, and how our financial, credit, and investment systems work. This course is a survey of everything to do with money - from credit cards, mortgages and interest rates to stocks, bonds, ETFs, RSPs and TFSAs. Students will examine household budgets, personal audits and other ways to track and control spending. (6 hours.)
