InDesign Level 1 (CMPT 1406)

Adobe InDesign is the industry standard page layout program for multi-page print advertisement. This course is a comprehensive exploration of InDesign tools, panels, and basics. Learn how to set up documents and master pages, import text, advanced graphics and how to use typography and styles. Create professional, simple, multi-page print materials such as flyers, brochures, reports, magazines, and newspapers. Hands-on in-class exercises include industry standard projects.

 

(15 hours) Students get access to Adobe Creative Cloud for the duration of the course.

Required:Please bring a USB flash drive to class.

 

Prerequisite: Basic computer skills. Please note that this course is taught in a Mac lab.

 

This course has been approved for non-Core learning units as part of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC)Recognizied Educational Provider program.
