Intro to Design (DGRD 1010)
It is the goal of this course that students will be able to effectively define and apply the formal elements of design using industry standard tools. During this course students will identify the role and responsibilities of the graphic designer and examine ethical and sustainable design practices. Students will develop a proficiency in the Mac OS and Adobe Illustrator as they illustrate the elements of design and apply colour theory through hand-on assignments and projects. Students will be able to meet all technical requirements and deadlines when taking their solutions to production.
This is part of the full-time Digital Graphic Design Program.
