Introduction to Dental Assisting (DAST 1401)

This first course in the program is designed to present an overview of the dental profession including a brief history, discussion of team members, education and ethics. Additionally, a self-directed study of dental and medical terminology provides the learners with the basic 'language of dentistry' as a foundation for the following courses.
