Medical Transcription for MOA (MEDC 1201)

This course focuses on proficiency in the transcription of medical specialty reports and introduces additional medical terminology relating to those specialties. Students learn how to access appropriate electronic medical resources and references to verify dictation.

Pre-requisites: Medical Administrative Procedures (MEDC 1100), Medical Speed and Accuracy 1 (MEDC 1121), Human Relation Skills (MEDC 1132), Medical Terminology for MOA 1 (MEDC 1135), Medical Terminology for MOA 2 (MEDC 1136), and E-Communications Management (MEDC 1140)
