Preclinical Prosthetics 4 (DENT 4009)
This course is designed to introduce licensed denturists or denturist student to osseointegrated treatment of fully edentulous patients. During the course the participants are exposed to all Clinical Prosthetic Procedures and also all the laboratory procedures necessary for the construction of implant supported dentures. Emphasis is placed on the team approach, cooperation between the denturist, oral surgeon, periodontist, dentist and/or other dental professionals who provide any necessary procedures beyond the scope of practice of a denturist to safeguard the health and welfare of the public.
