Sewing - Beginners Level 2 (FASH 1158)

This course will continue to build skills in sewing and construction techniques. The student will choose a pattern from the given list. Learn how to take personal measurements and compare them to the pattern measurements. The student will be shown how to make any required adjustment to the paper pattern before cutting and constructing the garment. The goal is to complete two garments: a blouse or shirt, and a skirt or pair of pants that will fit.

This course is particularly designed to assist those students who are building a portfolio for acceptance into a fashion design program.
