Stone Setting in Jewellery 1 - Bezels (JEWL 1134)

In this course students will learn the correct method of bezel setting gemstones including all sizes and shapes of stones. Students will learn all aspects of bezel settings, including studying a stone prior to starting, correctly “seating” a stone using various techniques for different shapes of stones, hammering the metals, and correctly shaping and filing the metals. Students will also learn about final detailed finishing of the bezel setting.
