Yes. Students in the Visual Communications Design Diploma program participate in a 120-hour practicum with a local business. This is in addition to working with public clients at Studio Novo, VCC’s on-campus design studio.

Students in our graphic design programs learn with the same cohort for the entire length of the program, with a maximum of 18 students in each group. These programs can only be taken full-time, with the first year running for 9 months and the second year for 10 months, including a practicum where you work in the industry. Classes run during the daytime, between the hours of 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
