Born in Vancouver and educated at UBC and the Vancouver Academy of Music, Paula Kremer has studied choral conducting at Eton College, Westminster Choir College, the Eastman School of Music, and the University of Michigan. A permanent faculty member of the School of Music at VCC, Paula teaches choral techniques, voice, and solfege. Paula has been the Vancouver Cantata Singers’ Artistic Director since 2013. Learn more.
Deirdre Morgan is a sessional lecturer in music at VCC and SFU. Her teaching interests include the music of sub-Saharan Africa and its diaspora; and music transnationalism through a global, post-colonial lens. Deirdre holds a Ph.D in Ethnomusicology from SOAS, University of London (2017), an M.A. in Ethnomusicology (UBC 2008), and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (UBC 2006). Learn more about Deirdre.
Adrian Verdejo is a Canadian guitarist, recording artist, podcaster, and music educator based in Vancouver. Adrian is a classical guitar instructor at VCC's School of Music. He is a founding member of the Victoria Guitar Trio and has also played with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
