Description
Delve into the essentials of construction financing and project planning in this course. Learners will gain insights into funding processes, construction types, and the interpretation of project plans and schedules. Through interactive sessions and self-paced exercises, students will also explore site visit methodologies and analyze common construction contracts to understand their application to real-world projects.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain the process and timing for organizing construction financing, and the advantages and disadvantages of various funding sources and structures.
- Compare the most common building types to evaluate their advantages, disadvantages, and usage applications.
- Report on the key features in construction plans and drawings.
- Outline the process for conducting site visits, to accurately report construction project progress at key stages.
- Describe the importance of a typical construction schedule for different building types.
- Examine the common construction contracts to determine suitability for a range of project types.
