Description

This course focuses on the theory and concepts associated with general dentistry. The psychomotor skills and equipment that are required for the practice of dental assisting will be introduced. Students will also learn the fundamentals of infection and pain control, restorative dentistry, chairside assisting, and record keeping. Vancouver Community College gratefully acknowledges the invaluable contribution of Camosun College for sharing their curriculum for the new Certified Dental Assisting program.
