Description
Students will learn how to provision, secure, and support Windows endpoints in modern workplace environments. In this course, students will configure identity and access controls, apply essential hardening practices, and troubleshoot endpoint issues using industry‑informed tools and methodologies. Students will also automate routine administrative tasks and deliver professional remote support, building a foundation that prepares you for advanced systems, cloud, and security courses later in the program.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Provision Windows endpoints using local or cloud-based management tools.
- Implement access controls through identity management systems.
- Harden endpoints by applying modern security configurations.
- Monitor and remediate endpoint security alerts in security management platforms or extended detection and response (XDR) solutions.
- Automate routine administration tasks such as software deployments and system cleanup using scripts or built-in automation tools.
- Deliver remote support using remote assistance tools while maintaining consent documentation and detailed session records.

PLAR is assessed through one or more of the following methods: challenge exam, student portfolio/products, demonstration/simulation, interview, project-based asessment, or through another assessment method that is aligned with the course learning outcomes.
