Description

This course provides students with an introduction to the Health Care Assistant Program and assists students to understand the expectations and requirements of the program based on the polices and procedures of the Department of Continuing Care, School of Health Sciences and the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry. Students will receive information regarding the program delivery schedule, practice education experiences and online learning platform. Students will also receive guidance regarding the completion of their practice education requirements and the various student services available at VCC.
