Description
This course builds on ACRD 1140 Welding, Cutting and Heating Steel 1. Students learn to perform welding procedures including squeeze-type resistance spot welding (STRSW) and silicone bronze MIG welding to meet technology advances in collision repair.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe resistance spot welding.
- Perform resistance spot welding procedures.
- Describe silicon bronze MIG welding.
- Perform silicon bronze MIG welding procedures.
- Describe the maintenance of equipment used for non-ferrous welding processes.
