Description

Students learn to install, configure, and manage organization-oriented Cloud infrastructures. Students study Cloud as a Platform which replaces traditional local hardware. Topics include Cloud deployment models, Cloud platform architectures, Cloud computing platforms and comparative analysis. Students also study virtual machine instances, load balancers, auto scaling groups, snapshots, and Cloud networking. They work with virtual private Clouds (VPC), Cloud storage and content delivery through Cloud-hosted databases. Cloud security models such as user identity, access management, and resource security are also introduced. Students gain practical experience through labs which use various Cloud service providers such as Microsoft, VMWare, Google, and Amazon.
