Description
Students will apply their full range of skills to deliver an integrated IT solution for an infrastructure project. In this capstone course, students will work in teams to build, secure, and document a multi‑component environment that reflects real organizational needs. Students will also create professional‑quality artifacts, such as architecture diagrams, operational documentation, test evidence, and a final presentation, demonstrating their technical decisions, collaboration, and readiness for industry roles.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Design and implement an integrated IT infrastructure that simulates a small-to-medium business environment, incorporating networking, systems, virtualization, and security components.
- Deploy and secure a virtualization environment using industry-standard virtualization platforms, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance
- Implement cybersecurity operations architecture, demonstrating actionable incident response procedures.
- Configure and manage identity and access management systems to enforce modern authentication, authorization, and accounting standards.
- Develop professional documentation and deliver presentations, demonstrating technical solutions and business value to industry professionals.
- Deliver a professional presentation demonstrating project outcomes, technical decisions, and business impact to stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively within a project team, contributing to planning, execution, troubleshooting, and documentation while demonstrating accountability and professional communication skills.
