Description
In this course, student will prepare for practicums. Students will build on the skills in the pre-requisite courses to ensure that they have achieved the required competencies to safely practice pharmacy in a real-world setting.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile products safely and accurately. (1)
- Use pharmacy dispensing software. (2)
- Prepare prescriptions safely and accurately in community and hospital distribution systems. (3)
- Apply quality assurance procedures in community and hospital distribution systems. (4)
- Demonstrate the ability to perform at an entry-to-practice level of competence. (5)
- CLOs align with the following NAPRA Competencies: (1) 1.7, 1.8, 1.9. (2) 1.6. (3) 1.1-1.9. (4) 5.5. (5) 1.1-5.5.
- CLOs align with the following CPTEA Educational Outcomes: (1) 3.3. (2) 3.1. (3) 3.1, 3.2, 3.5. (4) 9.2, 9.3. (5) 1.1-9.4
