Description
This course introduces students to hospitality facilities planning processes from a management perspective. Systematic problem solving and decision making techniques are applied to budgeting, capital expenditure planning and cost benefit analysis of repairing, replacing or disposing of assets in the hospitality sector.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Assess capital budgeting decision models.
- Create the firm's cash conversion cycle.
- Evaluate the costs of the individual sources of capital.
- Perform sales forecasts to predict cash inflow.
- Calculate the feasibility of a capital project using return on investment (ROI) analysis.
- Calculate by using a comprehensive set of measurements to evaluate a company's performance.
