Description
This course introduces students to plastic and composite materials, tools and equipment, and repair techniques. Students learn to perform a variety of adhesive and weld repair techniques.
This course is part of the full-time Automotive Collision and Refinishing Diploma program.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe the characteristics of plastics and composites
- Describe plastic repair tools and equipment
- Describe plastic repair techniques
- Perform adhesive repairs to plastics and composites
- Perform weld repairs to plastics
