Description
Students learn to replace and repair a variety different types of glass including laminated and tempered, stationary and movable glass.
This course is part of the full-time Automotive Collision and Refinishing Diploma program.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe automotive tempered glass
- Describe automotive laminated glass
- Service non-structural glass
- Repair laminated glass
- Adhere to requirements of federal vehicle safety standards
- Replace bonded glass
- Use setting and lifting equipment
- Replace non-bonded glass
- Fabricate template
- Verify system calibration
- Perform final inspection
- Diagnose glass-related issues
