Description
Students learn to identify, operate and maintain hand, electric and pneumatic tools. Students are introduced to pneumatic power systems, basic refinishing equipment and hydraulic equipment used in the industry. This course also focuses on safe vehicle lifting procedures using various lifting equipment.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe hand, electric and pneumatic tools used during collision and refinishing repairs.
- Perform various tool and equipment maintenance procedures according to manufacturers' recommendations and industry standards.
- Use hand, electric and pneumatic tools appropriate for various tasks in a safe manner.
- Perform test spray to demonstrate proper spray gun setup, cleaning and maintenance.
- Perform vehicle lifting and lowering procedures using various equipment according to Provincial and National safety standards.

Instructional Strategies
