Description
This course is the final course in the micro-credential program ‘Anti-racist Facilitation Training: Addressing Anti-Indigenous Racism in Adult Learning Environments’.
Building on the core competencies of anti-racist facilitation (the trifecta of knowledge, self-awareness, and skills) developed over the first two courses in the program, this course provides the learners with the opportunity to integrate these competencies into their practice through an advanced micro-facilitation intensive.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Integrate and apply their anti-racist facilitation competencies, including inter-racial facilitation, and co-facilitation, into practice in dealing with a range of facilitation scenarios.
- Reflect on and adapt strategies and approaches for anti-racist facilitation through structured micro-facilitation sessions.
- Develop a plan for reflective practice to support ongoing growth as facilitators.

In-class reflection - Must participate in reflection activities in large-group sessions of the in-person component as per rubrics.

Micro-facilitation - Must deliver 3 micro-facilitation “mini-lessons” and adapt their anti-racist facilitation and co-facilitation skills over the 3 iterations using facilitated reflection and peer feedback. Must deliver all 3 mini-lessons to receive S.

Participation
|
|
Feedback to peers - Must participate as learners in the mini-lessons facilitated by their peers and provide written and verbal feedback on their teaching and facilitation. Must participate in 10 out of 12 feedback cycles to receive S.
