Description

Communications for Health Sciences is designed to prepare students for success in the following health science programs: Practical Nursing, Health Unit Coordinator, Dental Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistant, Medical Lab Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, and Medical Device Reprocessing Technician. Students who complete this course will meet the Language Proficiency Requirements to enter any of these programs. After completing individualized assignments, students will meet the Grade 12 English equivalent. Receiving departments have agreed to accept CCA statements of success in lieu of retaking the required ABE assessments.
