Description
In this course the student is introduced to dental office management. The concepts of appointment control, treatment planning, accounting, and dental insurance are discussed. Written and verbal office communication with patients is explored.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on cultural diversity, ensuring effective interaction and understanding across diverse cultural backgrounds.

- Explain appointment management systems.
- Describe patient accounts.
- Demonstrate use of dental insurance claims.
- Explain the maintenance of financial records.
- Describe filing systems.
