Description
Students prepare for work experience through job shadowing. Students are given feedback by the employer, the instructor and through self-assessment.
This course is part of the full-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Job Readiness Program.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate professional practice at work
- Establish and maintain simple social work relationships
- Demonstrate appropriate workplace etiquette
- Introduce interpreters to the staff and employer in the workplace
- Show initiative and work independently at the workplace
- Collaborate effectively with coworkers
- Introduce themselves at the workplace and describe their communication needs
- Reflect on their workplace experiences
