Description
In this term, students continue to prepare for entry into the workplace through job shadowing and work experience placement. Students are given feedback by the employer, the instructor and through self-assessment.
This course is part of the full-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Job Readiness Program.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Apply personal decision making and problem-solving to entry-level work tasks
- Follow workplace rules, policy and procedures
- Demonstrate professionalism in the workplace
- Educate staff about the purpose and use of an interpreter
- Ask for clarification and repetition when needed
- Solve basic workplace concerns and ask for assistance where needed
- Summarize work duties, experiences and learning
- Identify areas for self-improvement
