Description
Building on work established in Year 1 Flamenco, students apply Flamenco technique developed in Year 1 to learning the traditional Flamenco dances including: Alegrias, Bulerias and Solea.
This course is part of the full-time Dance Program.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Have a mastery (Consciousness, Intellectual, Physical) of dance techniques at a professional level
- Have physical strength and stamina to withstand the rigour of a professional dance career
- Demonstrate understanding of movement on internal, body and spatial domains
- Be able to perform a broad based variety of types, forms, genres and styles of dance
- Have mastery of musical interpretation and of theatricality in dance
- Demonstrate a professional work ethic
- Be able to apply problem-solving, memory skills and critical thinking to dance
