Description
In this course, the student will be introduced to using Autodesk Civil 3D Software for road layouts, land subdivision, terrain models, and corridor design.
This course is part of the full-time Architectural Technician, Civil/Structural Technician, Steel Detailing Technician Certificate Programs.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Create and manage civil engineering land development drawings.
- Edit & create styles and settings.
- Create, import, analyze, manipulate points.
- Create point groups and create description keys.
- Subdivide land, label points, lines and curves.
- Create, edit and analyze terrain models.
- Create horizontal alignments.
- Create existing and design profiles.
- Create and use assemblies for corridor design.

- Create and edit parcels and print parcel reports.
- Create points and point groups and work with survey figures.
- Create, edit, view, and analyze surfaces.

- Create assemblies, corridors, and intersections.

- Perform quantity takeoff and volume calculations
