Description
This course provides students with broad knowledge of the principles and practices involved in the administration and management of a childcare centre. Students will learn the necessary skills to fulfill the role of administrator of an early childhood education program.

ECCE 2313, ECCE 2314, ECCE 2315.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe and incorporate early childhood education regulations in childcare programs
- Articulate a childcare centre’s philosophy of childcare and education
- Develop inclusive policies and procedures for a childcare facility
- Manage funding, finances, program schedules and staff
- Assess and adapt a program according to needs of children
- Reflect on the role of leadership in an administrative position
