Description
This course provides students with an understanding of professional perspectives in the field of early childhood education. Students will identify principles of professional conduct and articulate supporting practices and ethics to implement in their own childcare context.

ECCE 2313, ECCE 2314, ECCE 2315.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Interpret professionalism and professional practice in early childhood education
- Assess and evaluate personal practice and the effect of choices and actions on children, families and other professionals
- Implement continuous quality improvement of own professional practice
- Utilize standards of professional practice to guide decision-making and practice
