Description
The purpose of this course is to provide a broad introduction to fashion merchandising and an overview of the process from product creation to sale. Students will explore the intersections of merchandising with product development, wholesale, retail and e-commerce.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Present merchandise in a variety of retail environments including brick-and-mortar and e-commerce
- Demonstrate a big-picture understanding of the fashion industry, including how products are developed, marketed, and sold
- Engage in the product development process from the merchandising perspective
- Identify and discuss target markets
