Description
This course introduces students to the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) process, SMAW equipment , mild steel welding with SMAW, mild steel welding wire feed processes, and air arc gouging.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe shielded metal arc welding.
- Perform shielded metal arc welding.
- Describe wire feed process.
- Weld using wire feed process.
