Description
In this final capstone course students prepare and present a comprehensive project that builds on the analysis and final report from the Capstone 1 course. This will include a detailed plan that will provide recommendations to address the issues identified in the Capstone 1 report. Students may work individually or in groups depending on the complexity of the project and authorization of the instructor.
This course is part of the full-time Bachelor of Hospitality Management program.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Develop a comprehensive plan that addresses issues identified in the Capstone 1 report.
- Conceptualize and apply models of financial management, operations management, statistical analysis, research methods, eBusiness, social media, marketing and strategic management to a specific client/organization.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with business professionals both in person and on-line via social media and video conference settings.
- Lead and participate in formal and informal effective meetings.
- Conceptualize and apply models of change management, multiculturalism, ethics and sustainability to a specific client/organization.
- Develop and present a formal presentation to an expert hospitality panel.
