Description
This course introduces students to the origins of the Canadian legal system, the Constitution and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the courts, and criminal law.
LAWS 0982 and 0992 can be taken at the same time or in any order.
Both LAWS 0982 and Law 0992 are required for completion of ABE Provincial level Law.

Grade 12 Equivalency
Prerequisites
Current enrollment in or completion of English 10 or equivalent.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Students will meet the learning outcomes for ABE Provincial Level Laws as stated in the most recent ABE Articulation Handbook.
