Description
This course focuses on individual, group, and organizational behaviour. The course is designed to help students develop an understanding of organizational behaviour theory as it applies in the business workplace. Students learn skills and techniques to help organizations function more effectively and efficiently. Students are encouraged to bring their diverse experiences and prior knowledge to the discussion of course concepts.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Evaluate the opportunities that change creates for organizational behaviour
- Explain factors that affect organizations in a global economy
- Recognize the importance of diversity and inclusion in an organization
- Explain how personality and attitude influence behaviour in organizations
- Distinguish motivational techniques used within organizations
- Identify personal and organizational stressors and techniques to address them
- Examine the dynamics of group behaviour
- Explain organizational politics and identify forms and sources of power in organizations
- Use effective negotiation techniques for conflict resolution
- Identify different styles of leadership and their impact on organizational success
