Description
In this foundational course, students explore the fundamental principles of information technology management with key aspects of modern management. Students integrate their knowledge and skills acquired throughout the course to deepen their knowledge on how information technology contributes to achieving organizational objectives and gain insights into management practices applicable in various business environments.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate how the use of IT supports and enables organizational goals
- Describe how data analytics are used to provide actionable business intelligence
- Illustrate the importance and use of database technologies, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Contribute to the planning of organizational IT strategies
- Describe the spectrum of management from non-profit to entrepreneurial organizations around the world
- Describe the principles and traits of ethical leadership
- Classify and apply strategic management concepts
- Identify the importance of developing organizational objectives
- Differentiate the various styles of leadership in the workplace
- Explain the importance of interpersonal and intercultural communication in the workplace
- Recognize the relationship between authority, power, leadership, and group dynamics
